Based in Miami, this self-taught photographer originally trained as an architect, earning her BArch in 1987. As her passion for visual arts grew, she developed a unique vision: to create artworks that blur the line between photography and painting. Her creative process begins with a spontaneous, chance-driven approach— layering found materials, some with moving elements, which she then captures through the lens. Using her camera as a tool for abstraction, she photographs fleeting compositions, embracing the uncertainty of the final result. Through improvisational gestures, her images reveal textures rich in depth and organic quality.
